By creating an account or using Saausy, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account information. When you register, we may collect information such as your email address, date of birth (or confirmation that you are at least 18), username, and password or authentication tokens.
• Profile information. You may provide photos, videos, prompts, a short bio, interests, gender, preferences, approximate location (such as city or area), and other details you choose to share on your profile.
• Content and communications. We process messages you send within the app, likes, matches, ratings, prompts, and other content or metadata generated when you interact with other users.
• Support and feedback. If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, and any other information you include in your communication.
• Payment-related information. Purchases and subscriptions are typically processed by the app store provider (such as Apple). We receive limited information related to your transactions (such as receipt IDs and transaction status) but we do not receive your full payment card number.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Device and usage data. We may automatically collect information about the device and software you use to access the Service, such as device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, language, IP address, and mobile network information.
• Log data. We may record information when you use the Service, including access times, pages/screens viewed, taps and interactions, crash reports, and other diagnostic data.
• Approximate location. We may collect approximate location information (for example, derived from your IP address or device settings) to help show more relevant local matches (e.g., San Antonio / Austin & surrounding area) and to detect potential fraud or spam.
• Cookies and similar technologies. Our website and certain parts of the Service may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to help operate the Service, remember your settings, and measure engagement.

1.3 Information From Third Parties

• Sign-in providers. If you sign in with a third-party service (such as Apple), we may receive information required to authenticate you (such as identifiers, email, or display name), subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
• Service providers and partners. We may receive limited information about you from analytics providers, security/fraud services, or other vendors helping us operate the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

5. Your Choices and Rights

5.1 Account and Profile Controls

• You can access and update certain profile information directly in the app (such as photos, bio, interests, and preferences).
• You may delete individual pieces of content (such as photos or messages where supported) or edit your profile.

5.2 Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account using in-app settings or by contacting us at support@saausy.app. After we process your request, your profile will generally no longer be visible to other users, and we will delete or de-identify your personal information as described in Section 4.

5.3 Communications Preferences

• You may control certain notifications within the app or your device’s system settings (for example, push notifications).
• If we send you marketing communications by email, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your account or the Service.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access or use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers are located, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

8. Children and Minors

Saausy is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and associated information.
